This has been a bit of a strange week for me so far, but I love that no matter what, Wednesday always means the same thing for me: What I Ate Wednesday! So instead of trying to focus on the insanity that is my life at this exact moment, let’s just stick with the usual, kay? Thanks!

I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t break this cereal kick! This one was Kashi squares topped with mixed fruit. So simple, yet so delicious. Paired with some tea, of course. Can’t start my morning without some caffeine! (#caffeineaddict?)
Lunch was kind of a hodgepodge today. I had one slice of veggie pizza (artichokes, basil, peppers and mozzarella) left over from girls night on Monday, along with an apple and some peanut butter that went unpictured. Simple, but got the job done!
Post-workout, my tummy was seriously grumbling. I ended up grabbing a banana and a babybel cheese to hold me over. It’s been way too long since we had bananas in our house!
Chris has been talking for weeks about how he would really like to have some German food. I finally got the hint, and decided to make German food for the first time in my life. I ended up trying to healthify (as much as possible) some German jagerschnitzel, which is basically breaded pork with a mushroom gravy. I’ll have to share my recipe soon, because it actually ended up really good! We paired with with some spaetzle (german egg pasta) and roasted green beans.
My workout today was a little different than my normal Tuesday workout thanks to a slightly different work schedule. I don’t usually talk much about work on the blog, for safety reasons, but let’s just say that my work schedule is going to be a little different for a little while. I’ll leave that up to your interpretation, but I’m sure you can probably figure it out.
ANYWAY, I ended up getting out of work early, so I decided to head to the gym to blow off some steam. I was still really sore from my Sunday morning workout (that Jillian Michaels kills me every time!), so I changed up my plan and made it a cardio day. I started out with 35 minutes of intervals on the elliptical, followed by 2 miles running and 5 minutes of incline walking. A bit random, but it got the job done.
