Mood Ring Weather

I’m pretty sure the weather decided to match my mood today… dark and gloomy. Yea, it’s just been that kind of day.

Work has been really crazy and stressful lately, which is definitely starting to get to me. Today was one of those total hell days, and unfortunately it really looks like the rest of the week is going to be like that as well. Is it Friday yet???

I headed to BodyFlow after work because I just really needed to stretch out my muscles and RELAX after the day I’ve had! It did help a little…

But I’m trying to be positive today instead of bringing you all down with me today. So instead, I thought I’d bring out the funny side of my moodiness.

Does anyone remember this song from the mid-2000s?

Yup – this is the kind of music I listened to in High School. When I was in between my emo phase and my skater phase, of course. haha. But seriously, I’m pretty sure I know every work to this song. It’s sad.

    I feel like we’re always on the same page. Yesterday sucked and today is looking bad too :( Coming back to work after a long weekend makes everything crazy!! I cheered myself by making a new recipe :)

    I get into those funks as well, sometimes it’s weather related, a lot of times it’s “time of the month” related and I find my moods can be hard to control. I’ve been working very hard on being a more positive person, I tend to lean on the side of negativity when it comes to life. What can I say I’m a very sarcastic person by nature. I find though it doesn’t help my mood at all to continue to be negative, so when I get into a funk (especially when it comes to work) I make sure to not think of what is getting me down. I find something that I KNOW is going to put me in a good mood. Sometimes it’s a bike ride, walk, yoga session and other times it a favorite Disney movie or blasting a song I love to sing and then singing at the top of my lungs. It usually takes my mind off of the horrible day and starts me clean again.
    I hope the rest of the week is not as bad as you think, just get up tomorrow and think “this will be a good day”!

      Fake it to make it! I love that! Sometimes just putting a fake smile on your face can automatically help you feel better. Smiling is contagious after all!
